Our Commitments & Terms of Service
* Accuracy of Information: While Preference Property strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information related to property searches, this information often relies on third-party sources, including but not limited to property listings, building and pest inspections, valuations, and local council records. The agency cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy or completeness of this information. Clients are strongly encouraged to conduct their own due diligence and obtain independent expert advice before making purchasing decisions. Preference Property accepts no liability for errors, omissions, or reliance on third-party information that later proves to be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.

* Conflict of Interest: Preference Property is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. In the rare event of a potential conflict of interest, where the agency's interests or those of its associates may compete or be perceived to compete with client interests, the agency pledges to inform the client immediately, provide full transparency, prioritise client interests, and offer solutions to manage or resolve the conflict.
* Agent's Indemnity and Liability: Clients agree to indemnify and hold Preference Property harmless against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, losses, costs, or damages (including legal fees) arising from or related to the agency’s proper performance of its duties under this agreement. This includes but is not limited to any reliance on third-party reports, professional referrals, or market advice provided in good faith. Clients acknowledge that they bear sole responsibility for their purchasing decisions, including any financial, legal, or structural consequences following settlement.
* Financial and Investment Advice: Any financial or investment advice provided by Preference Property is of a general nature only and does not take into account the individual circumstances, objectives, financial situation, or needs of the client. Clients are advised to consult with their own independent financial and/or investment advisors.

* Property Defects & Post-Purchase Liability: Preference Property acts as a buyer’s advocate, assisting clients with property searches, negotiations, and transaction support. However, the agency is not responsible for any defects, faults, or issues with a property that may arise after purchase, whether known or unknown at the time of acquisition. This includes but is not limited to structural integrity, plumbing, electrical, pest infestations, or other latent defects not detected in standard inspections. Clients acknowledge that all inspections, assessments, and due diligence remain their sole responsibility, even if a professional service is recommended by the agency. Preference Property does not financially benefit from these recommendations and cannot be held liable for any post-purchase issues or losses suffered by the client.

* No Guarantee of Property Performance or Value: Preference Property does not guarantee any future performance of a property, including but not limited to capital growth, rental returns, resale value, or suitability for a particular use. * Privacy Policy Statement: Preference Property uses personal information collected from clients to act as their agent and to perform obligations under the agreement. This information may be disclosed to other parties as required to perform duties under the agreement or as allowed under the Privacy Act 1988.
